Tippy Dye signed 12x16 photo from the 1935 Ohio State-Notre Dame game at Ohio Stadium. Dye signed the jumbo photo in blue sharpie and added his uniform #50 and years he played 1934-35-36, while including a "Go Bucks!" inscription above.

William H.H. "Tippy" Dye was the first Ohio State starting quarterback to defeat archrival Michigan three times. He did it at a time when Francis Schmidt was beginning his tenure at OSU and introducing the Gold Pants tradition. Dye would earn a pair in the first three years they were issued. Between football, basketball, and baseball, he earned eight varsity letters for the Buckeyes.

Dye would go on to coach both basketball and football, including as an assistant coach for Paul Brown in Ohio State's 1942 National Championship season. He also coached Washington to their first ever trip to the Final Four on the hardwood. Inducted into Ohio State's Varsity O Hall of Fame in 1984 for his contributions as both a player and coach.
