Francis Schmidt's time at Ohio State was very impactful on a national scale. He coached a dozen All-Americans in his seven seasons leading the Buckeyes. The only three-time All-American he coached in Columbus was Merle Wendt (1934-1935-1936). Another one of his All-Americans was center Gomer Jones, who went on to have a legendary career at Oklahoma as head football coach and eventual Athletic Director.
These two All-Americans signed this dual cut beautifully in pencil. Would look terrific in a photo display or made into a dual autograph custom card.
