Beautiful Program from the 1924 Football Appreciation Dinner Banquet held at The Elks Club on December 8, 1924. Incredibly inside, written in pencil, is Tee Young's handwritten notes for a speech he would give at the banquet when he passed on the honor of being the next captain at Ohio State to Harold "Cookie" Cunningham.  A center crease shows it was likely folded in half and stored in Young's back pocket that night, but has been stored flat ever since.

This lot originates from the Tee Young Collection, captain of the 1924 Ohio State football team.  He passed away from colon cancer in 1973.  A percentage of the total sale of this lot will be donated to the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer in honor of Francis "Tee" Young.
