Captain Francis "Tee" Young's cleats he wore during Ohio State's 1924 season. Wonderful shape for being almost 100 years old and a great piece of early football. Photo matched with a 1924 photo taken of Young, showing 11 eyelits on each side for the laces-- which is more than what he had worn in any other season.

This lot originates from the Tee Young Collection, captain of the 1924 Ohio State football team.  He passed away from colon cancer in 1973.  A percentage of the total sale of this lot will be donated to the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer in honor of Francis "Tee" Young.
