1969 Rose Bowl "I Was There" Felt Pennant. This pennant is approximately 28 1/2" long and still has its original tassels. Full of beautiful graphics, it displays a graphic of Rose Bowl Stadium, three yellow rose, and an Ohio State football player. Above the stadium is "I Was There Rose Bowl PASADENA CALIF.." It also has OHIO STATE in big block letters on the right.   

Led by their Super Sophomores, Ohio State traveled to Pasadena, California, to face second ranked USC and Heisman Trophy winner O.J. Simpson in the Rose Bowl. Ohio State forced five turnovers that day, including two by Simpson in a 27-16 win over the Trojans. It was Woody Hayes' fourth national championship at Ohio State and the school's sixth.

This pennant is in great condition with a couple of pin holes where the original owner likely hung it on the wall to display.
