Ohio State forced five turnovers that day, including two by Simpson in a 27-16 win over the Trojans. It was Woody Hayes' fourth national championship at Ohio State and the school's sixth.
This is a typed out, three-page budget for the costs for Ohio State's Marching Band to make the trip to Pasadena, California. The third page shows the total cost budgeted for the entire band, staff, and cheerleaders was just shy of $50,000 to send these rooters to the Rose Bowl. Underneath the figures on that same page is the signature of Ohio State Marching Band Director Charles L. Spohn.
