This lot features a rarely seen instrument flag, believed to be c1950, that would hang from the trumpets and trombones of members of TBDBITL during halftime shows. The flag measures approximately 7” x 14” excluding the tassels. Flag shows signs of both aging and wear. While one could wash it, this flag has likely witnessed Hopalong Cassady's sprint to the 1955 Heisman, the Buckeyes' march to the 1954, '57 and '61 National Championships, and countless other iconic moments in Buckeye football lore.
