This button up Varsity Sweater was issued in the late 1940's to Arthur Penner, who was associated with Ohio State's swimming team in some capacity. He was a member of the graduating class of 1948. His name is stitched on the inside on the left front side. This sweater has a couple of repairs done to the left shoulder area and is missing one of the five buttons. This sweater was made by Sand Knitting Mills Co., Chicago, Illinois.
