Jones became a starter in the second game of his freshman season and played in 39 games as a Buckeye. He started all 14 games in 2018 for the Big Ten and Rose Bowl champions.
He became the first Ohio State defensive lineman to score two touchdowns in one season, returning a 28 yard interception against TCU and recovering a fumble in the end zone against Michigan State.
Following the 2018 season, he was named a First Team All-American by College Football News. He was drafted in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.
He would play in Denver until 2022 before signing with the Seahawks for 2023 and 2024, and is presently with the Tennessee Titans.
