Season Set of Buckeye Buttons that were given out at the Credit Union of Ohio in 2011. The full set includes 13 buttons including the Gator Bowl against Florida. The 2011 season was remembered for Jim Tressel's sudden ouster just after coaching the Spring Game and Ohio State elevating Luke Fickell to be the interim head coach due to Tattoo Gate. With rumors swirling all season that Urban Meyer might be returning to coach in Columbus, Ohio State was only able to muster a 6-6 mark during the regular season. With a choice to self-impose a one-game bowl ban and rid any chance of the NCAA issuing one of their own in Meyer's first season, Athletic Director Gene Smith was a bit overconfident and decided to play in the Gator Bowl against Florida.
All 13 buttons are in excellent condition with a Gray color and Scarlet lettering. These buttons are a tough find individually, let alone the whole set!
