Ohio State went to Ann Arbor on November 21, 2009 with a 9-2 record and looking for their fifth straight Big Ten title. Taking advantage of five Michigan turnovers, the Buckeyes defeated the host Wolverines, 21-7.  Ohio State's Cam Heyward recovered a fumble for a touchdown on Michigan's first offensive play of the game.  

These Gold Pants were awarded to a reserve Wide Receiver after Ohio State's sixth straight win over Michigan. The recipient's initials have been blurred digitally to protect his identity.
