A 1974 Media Guide signed in blue ballpoint pen by legendary head coach Woody Hayes and two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin.  This was Griffin's junior season when he took home his first of two Heisman Trophies. Ohio State finished the year 10-2 and third in the country.

Hayes won five National Championships at Ohio State and coached over 40 All-Americans. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1983.  Archie was inducted into the College Hall of Fame in 1986 and Ohio State's Varsity O Hall of Fame in 1981.
