This is an original 8x10 Photo from the 45th Reunion that celebrated Ohio State's first ever Western Conference Championship team of 1916. The event took place in 1961. The photo shows an aged Chic Harley kneeling in the middle of the front row.
The Buckeyes finished the 1916 season 7-0 including a 4-0 mark over Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Northwestern. They outscored their opponents that season, 258-29.
This is a part of half back Paul Hurm's Personal Collection. Hurm was a part of the famed Ohio State backfield that also included Chic Harley and Pete Stinchcomb.
