Sherwin Williams sponsored 11-button 1998 GameDay Badges set for each of the regular season games, both home and away, for the memorable 1998 Ohio State Buckeyes season.  The Buckeyes entered the season as the top ranked team in the land, opening up at 11th ranked West Virginia. Ohio State dominated the Mountaineers and went on to win the first eight games of the season.  Nick Saban brought his Michigan State Spartans team into Columbus and trailed the Buckeyes by double digits heading into the fourth quarter before escaping with a 28-24 shocking win. Ohio State went on to dominate Michigan and Texas A&M in the 1999 Sugar Bowl to finish 11-1 and second in the country.  

To this day, many Ohio State fans refer to the 1998 team as the best team Ohio State ever assembled, despite not winning a National Championship.
