Extremely RARE 2014 College Football Playoff National Championship Matching 3-Ring Set and Case issued to a reserve running back.

After squeaking into the playoff by pounding Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship with their third string quarterback, Ohio State upset top ranked Alabama in the semifinal. The Buckeyes would face Oregon and the 2014 Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota, but had a future All-American on their roster as well. Running back Ezekiel Elliott posted his third straight 200-yard game with a 246-yard, four touchdown performance. His final score iced the title for the Buckeyes in a 42-20 win over the Ducks.

This incredible College Football Playoff National Championship three ring set was sized for different fingers with the College Football Playoff ring being a size 7, the Sugar Bowl football-shaped being a size 8, and the Block O B1G Champions being a size 9. These were awarded to a reserve Running Back after Ohio State's 10th straight win to conclude the season. The player's last name is on the side each ring (blurred in the picture for player's privacy) and his full name is also engraved on the inside of the rings.

It's EXTREMELY RARE to find a matching three-ring set as players often kept at least one ring for themselves or awarded one to a family member or significant other. Championship Rings and Gold Pants are becoming more scarce in the NIL era with players having income during and immediately after playing in college. This matching set is a MUST HAVE for the serious Buckeye Collector! Includes the original Josten's Display Case.
