Lot Description  

Professionally Framed 1936 Graphic Section of The Columbus Sunday Dispatch featuring 3x All-American Merle Wendt advertising the 1936 Ohio State Football Schedule.  Wendt played on Francis Schmidt's Ohio State teams that defeated archrival Michigan three years in a row by a combined score of 93-0. When asked about his greatest thrill, Wendt showed no hesitation in answering the time he caught the winning touchdown pass against Michigan in 1934. This frame measures 21 inches x 27 inches and will look beautiful hung in any Buckeye Room!
