A program from when Ohio State hosted Illinois on November 19, 1927 at Ohio Stadium. In front of 70,034 fans, Illinois shutout the hometown Buckeyes, 13-0. Illinois scored two touchdowns through the air, 23 yards and 26 yards, respectively. With the win, the Illini and legendary head coach Bob Zuppke secured the National Championship and the first of two consecutive Western Conference Championships.
