Pair of Columbus Newspapers from the opener in 1976 football season.  The first is the September 10, 1976 edition of the Columbus Citizen-Journal with a beautiful large photo of Woody Hayes and his three captains for that season Ed Thompson, Tom Skladany, and Bill Lukens. Also included is a rare Stadium Edition newspaper, dated September 11, 1976, featuring the team photo describing how Ohio State has rebuilt after Archie Griffin graduated. 

The Buckeyes went 9-2-1 in 1976, defeating Colorado in the 1977 Orange Bowl. They finished ranked number five in the Coaches Poll.  These two newspapers are rare and would look beautiful displayed on your Scarlet and Gray walls!
