2006 Home Games Ticket Proof Sheet to all seven home games played at Ohio Stadium during that season, including Michigan. The Buckeyes finished a perfect 7-0 at home with Troy Smith winning the school's seventh Heisman Trophy award. In the seven home games, Smith threw for 1,525 yards and 18 touchdowns. His Heisman moment came when he led #1 Ohio State to a 42-39 win against #2 Michigan, throwing for 316 yards and four touchdowns. He became the second OSU quarterback to lead the Buckeyes to three wins over their archrival, joining Tippy Dye (1934-1936). He received 86.7 percent of the Heisman vote, the second highest percentage in the history of the award.
This sheet is in near mint condition, but is a proof set. There are no section, row, or seat numbers added to these tickets. A beautiful, scarce piece that has plenty of room for Troy to inscribe his statistics at the bottom of each ticket and add his autograph down at the bottom in the middle under TBDBITL. A small little dot can be seen at the bottom of the Northern Illinois ticket where Troy could sign/inscribe over.
