A pair of game programs from Sam Willaman's first season as head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes.  The away program is from the November 2, 1929, game played at Pittsburgh and the home program is from the Homecoming Game played on November 23, 1929, game against rival Illinois.  The original owner wrote the date and year in pencil on the cover of the Pitt program, but it remains completely intact.  The homecoming program is complete, but the cover's binding is very fragile. This was the second of three All-American seasons for Wes Fesler.
