Original 1915 "Across the Field" Sheet Music by William A. Dougherty and published by Melrose Bros. Music Co. Inc. out of Chicago, Illinois. Noted at the top of the song page, it says "Dedicated to John W. Wilce", who was the Buckeyes head football coach at the time.  The song first appeared before the October 16, 1915, game against Illinois. The song is still a staple for The Pride of the Buckeyes as they come out of the tunnel before each home game. Booklet has a small piece completely torn away on the bottom of the cover (visible in picture two). This sheet music measures 9.25" x 13.25" and would look beautiful framed in any Buckeye Room.
