Ohio State fandom was just starting to take off in the early 20th century. In a day when jerseys weren't worn and logo t-shirts weren't a thought, pennants and trinkets were a way to show off your favorite team. This late 1920’s / 1930’s red felt pennant -- 30.5” in length (36" complete with 5.5" two long tassels and no tag) with stitched on gray block letters spelling out OHIO STATE. Pennant is in Exceptional overall condition and highly desired to display in your Buckeye Room!
The pennant does have a few pin holes and natural/common soiling. If you would want this (or any other) fragile textile cleaned and conserved, please contact Mitten_State_of_Mind at [email protected], he uses the same certificated conservation source as the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
