A tough-to-find, single-signed Ohio State logo football by 1942 National Champion and 1946 All-American, Cecil "Cy" Souders. He would help the school capture their first ever National Championship in 1942 under legendary head coach Paul Brown. Cy was drafted in the 25th round (259th overall pick) in the 1945 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins.  He spent two seasons away from Ohio State while serving in the US Navy. Inducted into Ohio State's Varsity O Hall of Fame in 2002.

Souders ink signature to the right of the Ohio State logo has faded a lot over time, but his signature and all of the incredible inscriptions are still legible (see picture two).  He added, "All-American 1946", "OSU Athletic Hall of Fame 2002", and "Chicago Tribune M.V.P.".
