Rare 2014 Season Opening Game Program between Ohio State and Navy. A lot of people forget that fifth ranked Ohio State went to M & T Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland to open the season against the Navy Midshipmen. Navy gave Ohio State's defense all they could handle, despite just attempting four passes on the day. The Midshipmen rushed for 370 yards and two touchdowns and trailed the heavily favored Buckeyes by just six as they headed into the 4th Quarter. The game would tighten to 20-17 after a field goal by the hosts, but Ohio State's big weapons would put on the finishing touches. Ezekiel Elliott added a 10-yard touchdown run, while Michael Thomas hauled in a nine-yard touchdown reception as the Buckeyes held off Navy, 34-17. Ohio State would lose the following week at home, but would rebound to win 13 straight to close the season and claim the school's seventh national title.
Program is in near mint condition and highly sought after by those that collect programs from Ohio State National Championship season.
