Game Program and Ticket from Ohio State's 13-0 loss to top ranked Illinois in 1927. The Homecoming crowd of 70,000 saw Ohio State reach deep into Illinois territory multiple times, only to have the drive end on a turnover or downs. Illinois won their sixth Big Ten title and finished the season unbeaten with their lone blemish a 12-12 tie earlier in the season to Iowa State. Illinois was selected as the 1927 National Champions by multiple outlets.  Program is complete and intact, but the cover is starting to pull away from the staples. Small rip on the top left corner of the back. Beautiful cover artwork done by the popular Milton Caniff.  Ticket is in excellent condition with a clean rip at the perforation.
