A full page team pictorial honoring the 1919 Ohio State Buckeyes as they headed into their season finale with Illinois. This November 1919 page was published by The Columbus Citizen and shows players and coaches from the 1919 team that finished 6-1 and defeated archrival Michigan for the first time in school history. Pictured at the top and center is Captain Chic Harley, the school's first three-time All-American. This page shows Butch Pixley, Holtkamp, Chic Harley, Pete Stinchcomb, Willaman, Spiers, Taylor, Lynn St. John (AD), John Wilce (Coach), Gurney (Trainer), Slyker, Truck Myers, Weaver, Iolas Huffman, Nemecek, Clarence MacDonald, Trott, Farcasin, Bliss, and Fritz Schweitzer. The back has a couple pieces of tape holding some tears together, but overall a fantastic 102-year old piece that has withstood the test of time. It would look absolutely stunning if matted and framed for a Buckeye Room.
