After squeaking into the playoff by pounding Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship with their third string quarterback, Ohio State upset top ranked Alabama in the semifinal. The Buckeyes would face Oregon and the 2014 Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota, but had a future All-American on their roster as well. Running back Ezekiel Elliott posted his third straight 200-yard game with a 246-yard, four touchdown performance. His final score iced the title for the Buckeyes in a 42-20 win over the Ducks. This incredible College Football Playoff National Championship ring is a size 12 and was awarded to a reserve defensive lineman after Ohio State's 10th straight win. The player's last name is on the side of the ring (digitally blurred in the picture for player's privacy) and his full name is also engraved on the inside of the ring.
