A 1921 Tournament of Roses blank and unused Real Photo Post Card showing a float from the Rose Bowl Parade. This was the first trip that Ohio State football ever made out to Pasadena, California, as they fell to the California Bears, 28-0. This was just the second time ever that the Rose Bowl pitted a Big Ten team against a Pacific Coast team and the first time in 19 years. 45,000 fans attended the game that year and it would be more than a quarter century before the Buckeyes would make a return trip. This sepia RPPC shows a float from the parade and has just a small punch hole that is barely noticeable in the bottom right.
