Game Program from the very last home game for Ohio State played at Ohio Field in 1921. The Buckeyes entered the November 19th finale against Illinois with a perfect 4-0 record in the Western Conference after defeating Alonzo Stagg's Chicago team a couple weeks earlier. Iowa was also unbeaten in conference and OSU would have to beat Illinois to win a share of another league title. The Buckeyes had won the four previous conference games by a combined score of 76-0 and entered the Homecoming Game as a big favorite over Bob Zuppke's Illini. Illinois played just 11 guys all afternoon and scored on a fluke play in the second quarter. Illinois dropped back and threw a pass from OSU's 35 yard line and it deflected off of OSU's Truck Myers only to wind up in Laurie Walquist's hands and scampered the rest of the way for the only score in a 7-0 Illinois win.  It spoiled Ohio State's Homecoming and their final game in Ohio Field, but brighter days were ahead with Ohio Stadium opening in 1922.  Inside, it celebrates some of the great John Wilce teams with 1916 and 1917 team photos that include three-time All-American Chic Harley. This program has a vertical crease towards the right edge of the cover. Inside, there is some soiling due to its age and the back cover shows it may have been possibly glued to a page previously but has been removed.
