Rare cut signature of 1906 Ohio State football captain James Lincoln affixed to a 3x5 index card. With "Big Jim" at Tackle, Ohio State went 8-1 that season including 3-0 in conference to win the OAC. Reading archived articles from The Lantern, Jim Lincoln was one of the best early captains Ohio State ever had. He was struck with typhoid fever in 1907 and had to leave Ohio State. An engineering student, Jim Lincoln went on to help create Lincoln Electric in Northeastern Ohio, which still is in operation today. Lincoln signed in pencil under the Autographs header on the page.
