Ohio State had high hopes for 2015 with nearly all their key players returning from the previous season's national championship winning team. However, Michigan State used an injury to Ezekiel Elliott and some dreary weather at Ohio Stadium to end Ohio State's 23-game winning streak. Ohio State, fueled to redeem themselves after the upset the previous week, went into Ann Arbor, Michigan, and annihilated their archrival. Elliott ran downhill all day to the tune of 214 yards and two touchdowns, while J.T. Barrett added 139 of his own on the ground. Though Ohio State was likely the best team in the country that year, these Gold Pants from their 42-13 win over Michigan serve as a reminder of the team's dominance in all but one game that season.
