A ticket stub from Big Ten champion Ohio State's close loss to Michigan on November 25, 1939, in the season finale. This game highlighted big names on both sides of the field. Ohio State jumped out to a two touchdown lead early behind two TD passes by All-American quarterback Don Scott. Future Michigan Heisman Trophy winner Tom Harmon threw a touchdown and ran for another, however, to tie the score at 14. With under a minute to play, the Wolverines lined up for the potential game-winning field goal as Ohio State went into full block mode. Michigan took advantage of that and ran a fake that saw Fred Trosko run it in for a score-- as noted by the original owner of this ticket on the back.
