Extraordinary Jack Tatum 1968 Game Used and Signed Away Jersey, receiving the highest authentication grade from MEARS, the industry leader in Bat and Jersey Evaluation and Research.  As legend has it, the Buckeyes, including Tatum, warmed up in these jerseys pre-game in the 1969 Rose Bowl, but after warmups, they changed into their white mesh practice jerseys because of the heat.  Ohio State, of course, went on to defeat Heisman winner O.J. Simpson and the USC Trojans, 27-16, to claim the school's fifth National Championship.

Tatum was a two-time All-American and a part of two National Championship teams in 1968 and 1970. He would go on to an All-Pro career in the NFL for the Oakland Raiders and won the Super Bowl in 1976. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2001 and Ohio State's Varsity O Hall of Fame in 1981.

This jersey was manufactured by Spangian and is a Size 44. The torso measures a 34 and the chest a 22. It includes a Sewn on Namplate with TATUM measuring 2.75". The numbers on the sleve measures 3.75" and the numbers on both the front and back measure 11". MEARS research found Moderate use and no team repairs. With a lack of pictures from road games for the 1968 season, we were unable to photo match this jersey. Tatum autographed the back of the jersey in black sharpie under his number 32.
