The 1975 season saw the top ranked Ohio State Buckeyes travel to fourth ranked Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on November 22, 1975. Although Archie Griffin became the only two-time Heisman Memorial Trophy Award winner just a couple of weeks later, the Buckeyes relied heavily on another ball carrier for their offense this day. Pete Johnson score three touchdowns including two in the fourth quarter as the Ohio State rallied for a 21-14 win in the Big House. The Buckeyes finished 11-0 on the season, and 8-0 to win the Big Ten title.
