Lot Description  

Quarterback Joe Germaine Signed Ohio State logo football.  After second ranked Arizona State's Jake Plummer scrambled for an 11-yard touchdown in the game's final minutes, it looked as if "The Snake" would rally his team to another come-from-behind win.  Instead, Ohio State's Joe Germained connected with David Boston with 19 seconds to play to give Ohio State an upset win, 20-17.  Germaine inscribed the score and wrote "Game winning TD 1997 Rose Bowl" before diagramming the winning toss to Boston dubbed, "240 Smash." The Buckeyes finished second ranked in the country and gave John Cooper his only Rose Bowl win at Ohio State.
