Here is a 29” Scarlet and Gray felt pennant with Thomas French's redesign that includes the presidential crest. This pennant is most likely from the 1940's as the next seal change happened in the early 1950's.  The 1940's was a big decade for the Buckeyes, capturing their first National Championship in 1942 and Les Horvath taking home the school's first Heisman Trophy in 1944.

The tri-color design and outline make this pennant very eye appealing and all tassels are accounted for, making it highly desirable. The pennant does have a few pin holes and natural/common soiling. If you would want this (or any other) fragile textile cleaned and conserved, please contact Mitten_State_of_Mind at [email protected], he uses the same certificated conservation source as the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
