An Earle Bruce signed 1987 Spring Game full ticket. This would be Bruce's final Spring Game as the coach of Ohio State. The ticket does exhibit some toning near the top of the ticket on both the front and back. Bruce was the head coach at Ohio State from 1979-1987, winning at least nine games in eight of his nine seasons. He finished with a 5-4 record against the Wolverines, dramatically winning in Ann Arbor in 1987 after being fired by OSU earlier in the week. Players wore headbands in support of Bruce and carried him off the field at Michigan Stadium after the 23-20 win. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2002.
