Vintage October 24, 1955 Sports Illustrated Issue signed by Howard "Hopalong" Cassady. Cassady was a member of Ohio State's 1954 National Championship team and was Ohio State's third Heisman winner in 1955. Hop would go on to an eight-year career in the NFL, highlighted by a NFL Championship with the Detroit Lions in 1957. He was inducted into the College Hall of Fame in 1979 and Ohio State's Varsity O Hall of Fame in 1977. Cassady signed Hopalong 55 Cassady flawlessly in black sharpie below his jersey number on the cover.  The authentication sticker is present on the bottom left front cover.
