Near mint game program from the 1958 Rose Bowl.  The Buckeyes lost their season opener to TCU, but reeled off eight straight wins to earn a trip to the Rose Bowl.

After winning the National Championship in 1954, Woody Hayes had his sight set on number two in 1957 despite the early season defeat. Ohio State took the opening possession 79 yards, finishing the drive with a one-yard plunge by quarterback Frank Kremblas. Oregon tied the game in the second quarter with a five yard touchdown run of their own.

The Ducks had a chance to take the lead in the third quarter, but their field goal attempt hooked wide to the left. Ohio State kicker Don Sutherin had a field goal try from the same spot and was successful to put Ohio State ahead with 14 minutes remaining.  A fumble inside the Buckeyes' 30 and a turnover on downs with under a minute to play gave Ohio State the 10-7 Rose Bowl victory.

With top ranked Auburn on probation because of recruiting violations, Ohio State was voted the 1957 National Champions. OSU finished the season 9-1 and a perfect 7-0 in the Big Ten. It was Hayes' second of five national titles and the school's third overall.
