1911 Ohio State University Athletic Association Varsity Baseball Letterman Award presented to Stanley G. Backman on June 9, 1911. This award was signed at the bottom by President of the Athletic Board George W. Rightmire, Secretary of the Athletic Board Jackson G. Gilmore, and Professor of Physical Education Dr. H. Shindle Wingert. George Washington Rightmire would later become the school's interim president when William Oxley Thompson resigned in 1924 and would be selected as OSU's sixth president from 1926-1938. The award has been flattened for some time, but was originally folded multiple times with folds still visible.
