Rare autographed Sante Fe Train Menu for the railroad trip from Columbus, Ohio, to the 1950 Rose Bowl.  Dated December 28, 1949, this trip was serviced by Fred Harvey Services. Inside is a black and white team photo of the 1949 Ohio State University Football Squad and signed by All-American Bob Momsen, Jimmy Clark, Rod Swinehart, George ,James Thomas, Pete Perini, Ray Hamilton, Jack Lininger, and a couple others. It also includes a full dinner menu to the right including Grilled Lake Superior Whitefish, Young Chick Saute, and Roast Larded Tenderloin of Beef, and some delicious desserts.

The Buckeyes finished the regular season 6-1-2, including a 7-7 tie of fifth ranked Michigan in Ann Arbor.  Wes Fesler's team scored a huge upset, defeating previously unbeaten California, 17-14, and finished the season ranked in the top five. This was significant as it marked the first time the Buckeyes had ever won the Rose Bowl.  The momentum from the win also set the stage for Vic Janowicz' 1950 Heisman season.

On the autograph page are most of the players' family as well as Ohio State's seventh president Howard Bevis and his wife.
