A beautiful 1938 home program when Ohio State hosted Southern California at Ohio Stadium. Led by former Ohio State head coach Howard Jones, USC beat Francis Schmidt's Buckeyes, 14-7, in front of 62,578 patrons. The Trojans went on to win the Pacific Coast Conference and the Rose Bowl in Jones' 14th season in Los Angeles. Ohio State finished the season 4-3-1, but had three players drafted in the 1939 NFL Draft.
