Signed football by members of Ohio State's First National Championship team in 1942. This ball was signed at a 50-year reunion signing in 1992 in Columbus.  The ball was signed by MVP and All-American Chuck Csuri, other All-Americans Cy Souders, Bill Willis, Bob Shaw, Gene Fekete, and NFL Hall of Famer Dante Lavelli among others. The ball shows a brown scuff by 1944 Captain Gordon Appleby's signature that was a result of the the players passing the football around at the signing.  A pass was thrown to Lavelli, and Gluefingers, nicknamed because he caught everything, dropped the football!
