Lot Description  

Personal check signed by 1924 Ohio State Captain Francis D. Young and endorsed by 1919 team member F. L. Schweitzer. The Union Trust Company check is made out by Young to F. L. Schweitzer and endorsed on the back.  Fritz Schweitzer was a member of the 1919 Ohio State team, the first to beat Michigan in school history.

SLOOPY AUCTIONS FULL LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY

This lot originates from the Tee Young Collection, captain of the 1924 Ohio State football team.  He passed away from colon cancer in 1973.  A percentage of the total sale of this lot will be donated to the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer in honor of Francis "Tee" Young.
