Issued in the early 1910's, these silks were premiums issued by Murad cigarettes to entice smokers to buy their brand of cigarettes. This S22 silk measures 3.5" x 5.5" and depicts an Ohio State pitcher. The schools represented in this set have 10 different sports depicted including running, hammer throw, shot put, hurdling, baseball (pitching), baseball (hitting), football, golfing, hockey, and rowing. Each silk shows the athlete wearing school colors with the college seal in one of the corners.
