A beautifully signed newspaper cartoon of 1950 Heisman Trophy winner Victor "Vic" Janowicz illustrated by Bob Parker. The cartoon measures approximately 6 x 8.5 inches. Janowicz was the school's second winner and the third ever junior to win the prestigious Downtown Athletic Club award. He played halfback in the single wing, safety on defense, and did both the kicking and punting on special teams. In his sophomore season, he led Ohio State to a 17-14 win over California in the Rose Bowl by picking off two passes and returning one for a 41-yard touchdown.

His junior season served as the best individual season in the entire country.  In the win over Iowa, he accounted for 46 points by passing or running for six touchdowns and kicking eight extra points. For the season, he passed for 561 yards, 314 rushing yards, and scored 17 touchdowns.

Following college, he played professional baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates and professional football for the Washington Redskins. An automobile accident cut his career short and led him to returning to Columbus to call games.  Janowicz was elected to the College Hall of Fame in 1976.
