A rare etching of Ohio State's fifth president William Oxley Thompson done in the 1930's by famous artist Walter Tittle. 40 of these were produced and sold just after President Thompson's death in 1933 and this particular copy belonged to Ohio State Hall of Fame football coach Jack Wilce! It measures approximately 14x18.
Tittle was born in Springfield, Ohio, and has a few pieces that were produced during the same time period in the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
