Game program from Ohio State's season-opening 19-6 win over Kentucky at Ohio Stadium in 1935. In front of 56,686 fans, the Buckeyes scored three touchdowns, two by John Bettridge and one by Joe Williams. It was the first time these two neighbors had ever met on the gridiron. Led by second year head coach Francis Schmidt, Ohio State tied Minnesota at a perfect 5-0 in the Western Conference to secure their first league title in 15 years.  If not for a comeback by Notre Dame, Ohio State might have won their first National Championship that season.

This program cover is classic art of Ohio Stadium. Program is complete, but the center roster page is loose and was scored by the original owner.  There is a feature on Ohio State sophomore Jesse Owens, who went on to win four Gold Medals at the 1936 Olympics. This program is also notable for several internal illustrations by Milton Caniff.
