The season was written off by nearly everyone after Ohio State's second quarterback, J.T. Barrett, saw his season end with an injury against Michigan.  Everyone except for Urban Meyer and his Buckeyes' players.  Behind third string QB, Cardale Jones, Ohio State entered the Big Ten Championship game with Wisconsin on the outside looking in on the inaugural College Football Playoff.

Just two minutes into the game, Jones hit senior Devin Smith with a 39-yard touchdown to begin the onslaught. Cardale would connect two more times, both over 40+ yards, for touchdowns with Smith as the Buckeyes went on to pitch an important 59-0 shutout.  Jones finished the day with 257 yards, three touchdowns, and took home the Big Ten Championship game MVP award.

After the Buckeyes snuck in the playoff as the four seed, Jones would lead Ohio State to two upset wins over Alabama and Oregon to claim the school's eighth National Championship.

This duffel bag shows heavy use as Cardale Jones carried this before and after every football game. It still contains his personal bag tag with Jones 12 and the College Football Playoff logo as well as the 125th season of Ohio State football logo that was celebrated during the 2014 season.
