2025 Rose Bowl Varsity Jacket issued to a reserve wide receiver. This jacket is a size S and was produced by Maverick Awards.

Ohio State finished 14-2 in 2024, tying a school record with 14 wins (2002).  One of those losses was a controversial one-point loss in Eugene, Oregon, against the Oregon Ducks.  Freshman phenom Jeremiah Smith caught a pass that would have put Ohio State near the 20-yard line for a potential game-winning field goal, but Smith was whistled for offensive pass interference that moved the Buckeyes out of field goal range.

Because the College Football Playoff expanded to eight teams, Ohio State got a chance at revenge on a neutral field in Pasadena, California. To say Ohio State was laser focused for "The Granddaddy of Them All" would be an understatment.  The Buckeyes raced out a 34-0 lead at the Rose Bowl before Oregon could even respond.  Ohio State would go on to upset top-ranked Oregon, 41-21, to advance to the CFP semifinal. Jeremiah Smith set a freshman receiving record against the Ducks with 187 yards to go with two touchdowns as he was named Rose Bowl MVP.

Ryan Day's squad would go to defeat Texas and Notre Dame to claim the school's ninth national title. He became the fifth ever OSU coach to lead the Buckeyes to the mountain top and the second in 10 years.
